  As you can see, the painting process is awkward. I have only done one portrait in my life and I have facial amnesia, so I cannot conjure up a single face, even my own or loved ones'.  This is, as best as I can describe it, a channeling process. I let my hand determine the features and it developed into someone extraordinary. I named him Adahy (Cherokee for Man of the Woods).     Now, I'm getting an understanding of the soul of this man. The Monkey Man of Delhi reports were born in 2001 in Delhi, India. Descriptions varied wildly from a 4-foot tall being to an 8-foot tall one. It was said to be covered in dark hair and to leap from building to building. Some reported a helmet. Others reported red glowing eyes, metal claws, and 3 buttons on his chest. Some citizens were supposedly accosted by this creature and scratches, and a few fell when they panicked and ran, falling off buildings or down stairs. Humanoids seen in the waters outside of Antarctica?  These supposed cryptids were supposedly seen by the Japanese and named Ningen.  I say supposed because this makes a delightful online urban legend. I have yet to find real sources for the story or film. This post is a combination of the four main types of fledgling psychics and how to know which one you might be. With practice and focus, one can go from fledgling to full-fledged. In my post “Watch Your Wallet: Flim-Flam Ghost Communications” I discussed finding a psychic in a room full of psychics, but suppose you want to go to psychic’s strip mall shop or one inside a new-age store or even one your friend goes to that works from home? Friends: Should you take the friend into the room with you? A good psychic will tell you that it’s not a good idea because it will interfere with the reading. If they don’t tell you that, then be suspicious. A good psychic would let you record the session so you can play it back later because ideally during the session you will offer nothing but a poker face—no eyes widening, no head bobbing, no signs of ressurance. This is a very hard part of a reading but if you give even a slight recognition, the psychic will repeat what they said in several different ways to reaffirm they hit the nail on the head. The hardest thing for most psychics to understand is that they are not the center of their paranormal research team. When they do a read, it's not about them being on stage and the center of attention and the one who sees all and knows all. Once egos are set aside, the role of a psychic on a team can be very beneficial, but it is also very humbling. Preferably, do not tell clients you are a psychic . Knowing you are psychic creates all sorts of issues including them probing you about what the content of their home is and if it's threatening. There also develops a dependence on you for advice on just about everything. They will want to know from you if the home is haunted or not rather than the team's collective conclusion. During the interview process, they might also be self conscious of your ability to read them and take them totally out of the emotional mileu in their home that supports the haunting experience. There are three enemies of any good psychic read. You've probably seen it happen on those TV psychic reads when the psychic misses the mark and skids down a wrong path and tries to back pedal, maybe saying something like, "I must be picking up on someone else's relative." These three enemies are; ego, intellect and interpretation. EGO:    Imagine if you're known for 3-point shots in basketball and every time someone hears you play basketball, they expect you to make a 3-pointer for them to see. A little pressure? Yeah.   The more I study these red-haired ones around the world and descriptions, I ponder the fantastical. What if the "creators" realized they needed a human update for some qualities, like immune systems, height, strength, and even variety of coloring for various areas where vitamin D was harder to gather? What if they decided on a human update, kind of a Windows 8 for the Windows 7 design? So, they sent around the world a race of strange red-haired strong types to add something recessive to the gene pool and assured it to spread by making them unusually desirable to mate with?  Perhaps they "tweaked" the population several times over the millenniums.
