Psychokinesis and Hauntings

Psychokinesis: The ability of the mind to move objects. It’s come to my attention while ghost hunting that there’s a strange correlation between certain people and activity. A home that has problems only when one person is present, a ghost hunter who seems to capture a lot of evidence… Have you ever watched an episode of “Ghost Hunters” and seen kinetic events occurring around Grant Wilson? The K2 meter responding to him, a drum falling on him, a receipt machine spitting out a receipt, a chair he sat in moving…That’s not to say he has any conscious ability to create phenomenon, but it is possible that he can make instruments respond and objects move by his own energy fields. You don’t see Steve Gonsalves having this kind of response to the environment. This is a real interesting aspect of ghost hunting that I’d like to pursue further. Can people that are doing the hunting or those who are being “haunted” actually be the catalysts? There are probably some logical ways to try and det

Are We Ghosts?

There’s an assumption made by those in the paranormal research field that the phenomenon that is occurring is linked to ghosts, spirits, souls, those who have passed on. Because the causant is not seen, it is assumed to be of a spiritual nature. But, what if it were of a physical nature? What if a woman in California was minding her own business, having a conversation and a portion of her words passed over and were heard by a man in Iowa who wondered if he’d just experienced a ghost? I am a logic-minded person who is quick to admit that I believe things can always be explained in the physical world. It will take, I believe, a marriage of quantam physics and paranormal investigation is likely to create a feasible explanation for what is occurring. Even if we are to assume spirits exist and are haunting places and people, they would still be of a physical world nature in that their energy and whatever substance they retain would be of the universe and some as of yet unexplained rules we

Residual hauntings

Lost Souls or Residual? (What is Haunting Us?) As a ghost hunter, I’ ve gone through every explanation for phenomena attributed to hauntings by chasing sounds, hoping to recreate things, waiting for something to happen so I can finally say, “ah ha!” In my search, I’ ve come across many theories that I’ ve considered and cast aside until I arrived where I am today. And I arrived at my conclusion by going back to the beginning. My childhood. To understand my drive to “hunt ghosts,” you have to understand that I grew up in a locally famous haunted manor home called “Aspen Grove” in Fairfax, Virginia. The house was over 200 years old and during the Civil War, the Union troops took it over and used it as a field hospital, then later the Confederates stole it back and used it for the same. The wood floors were stained with the blood of the soldiers. The grounds were filled with relics and I was trained a young age to use a metal detector and fill our display case with more and more amazi
