REVIEW: Sharknado 4 Tonight on Syfy Channel!

TONIGHT - Syfy channel - 8 pm EST I am quite honored to be on the press for NBC/Syfy and I got to preview this movie weeks ago. I will not give a thing away except to tell y'all why I love this! - I promise NO SPOILERS -  Ian Ziering rocked this movie - what perfect casting for the lead part! Hasselhoff was also very well cast and Gary Busey! Tara Reid!  Oh my gosh!   I feel like I just indulged on eating a box of Twinkies and a couple pints of beer and the calorie count was zero! Yay! Naughty fun and no guilt! I watched this movie a Sharknado virgin. I have not seen the other ones and I think this helped me to totally dive in. I was hooked from the first minute and had to pause so I could use the bathroom because the short choppy editing makes it so that in a few seconds, you might miss something freaking awesome!  I know Sharknado can't live forever, but I can't helping thinking that Syfy is onto something. I'd love to see celebs from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s com...

"Face Off" New Season Syfy Tonight!!

My friends know that I love theater arts of all kinds from costume to makeup and set building. "Face Off" is the show of my dreams.  I just adore it!!! Syfy launches the new season tonight and I could not be more stoked! Syfy’s Critics’ Choice Award-winning competition reality series, FACE OFF, is back for its landmark 10th season onWednesday, January 13, 2016 at 9PM ET/PT. Join host McKenzie Westmore as she ushers in a new season of 14 talented contestants exploring the world of special effects make-up alongside notable special guest judges, including actor Paul Reubens, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead, Syfy's Hunters), Oscar nominated and Emmy Award-winning producer Jason Blum (The Normal Heart, Whiplash), and more. I won't give much away, but it gets better each season and this season's cast - I love them all, but have a special place for the German-Texan.  He is just individual enough to be brilliantly insane.

Childhood's End - Coming to Syfy in December!

I'm intrigued by Syfy's new project coming this December.  About Childhood’s End Written by Arthur C. Clarke and hailed as a revolutionary work of science fiction since its publishing in 1953, Childhood’s End follows the peaceful alien invasion of Earth by the mysterious “Overlords,” whose arrival begins decades of apparent utopia under indirect alien rule, at the cost of human identity and culture. Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) will play Karellen, the ambassador for the Overlords. Mike Vogel (Under the Dome) will play Ricky Stormgren, a midwestern farmer whose life is turned upside down when he is named the sole human ambassador for the Overlords. Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck) will play Rupert Boyce, an enigmatic American entrepeneur. Akiva Goldsman (Lone Survivor, A Beautiful Mind, I Am Legend) and Mike De Luca (Captain Philips, Moneyball, The Social Network) are attached as executive producers. Childhood’s End will be adapted by Matthew Graham (creator of BBC'sLife on Mar...

Syfy's Paranormal Witness Show Starts Tonight!

Tonight's episode of GH Wondering what's playing alongside GH? Well, a new show called "Paranormal Witness." It sounds a bit like "A Haunting" as far as it being people who have had paranormal encounters describing the events. I'm willing to watch it because each person's story speaks for itself instead of seeing the same team tackle the same issues week after week. I love a good ghost story and I also appreciate how others lives have changed following such an event. A person's world is truly turned on its axis to figure out what the heck this phenomena is about--hence blogs like "Ghost Hunting Theories" and books like my "Was That a Ghost?" Here's a sample of the show below:

Face Off: Zombies!!! Syfy!

I've been waiting for this episode of Face Off on Syfy tonight! Screw GH, although their little trailer for tonight's episode was entertaining with Amy and the new kid--what the hell is his name? losing it. When I did the Zombie Walk event on the blog world a few months ago, I did my own videos of zombie makeup and how to apply it. Here was my ending result--Zombie Autumnforest! Curious what the key to my happiness is? Never ever tease my Bigfoot. He gets his own bag of Jack Link's...

Syfy Happenings and My Upcoming Josh Showcase!

Tonight, new season of "Ghost Hunters" (yawn) Did I mention "Ghost Hunters" is starting ANOTHER season tonight? At this point, I think some viewers wouldn't mind watching them pick lint from their bellybuttons. Personally, they showed no growth or change in all those, what is it--7 seasons??? I say "off with their heads!" It's not entertaining and it's not even informative anymore. It's like taking Algebra for the fifth time, all I hear from the teacher when he speaks is "wah wah wah wah wah." All I hear when Steve explains the haunting to Tango is "wah wah wah wah wah." And, at the end of the episode during reveal, Jason will say for the umpteenth time " and things of that nature ." ( Josh's head on Indiana's body ) On the bright side, my favorite guilty pleasure, "Destination Truth" has a live episode kicking off its new season on the 17th of March looking for Banshees in Ireland--wahoo! God...
