Oddities Week: Bigfoot Hybrid?

Julia Pastrana from (1834 to 1860) from Sinaloa, Mexico Condition: Hypertrichosis - a body covered in thick dark hair. Double row of teeth She bred with a "normal" man and produced a baby with her same conditions that didn't live long. She died soon after birth of complications. Confused physicians of the time thought she was a hybrid of an orangutan and a human mating. Interestingly, her origins were sketchy. A man purchased her from a woman who might have been her mother. Father is unknown. He taught her to dance and play music and touted her as a bearded lady. She learned to read and write in several languages and married her owner and bred with him. The child was born with her same features and died three days later. Julia died soon after of complications of childbirth. In a horrifying turn of events, the man who married her, had her and his dead son both mummified and put under glass for display. Amazingly, this creepy man found another woman just like her, married...

Kansas Chupacabra?

This week's theme for Ghost Hunting Theories is "Oddities" It would help us a lot more in the discussion of chupacabra to come up with another name for the dog-like creatures being found in the American West versus the little demon-like bipedal described in Puerto Rico and called a chupacabra. Recently, a family in Kansas shared some photos with me taken in 2009. The husband was looking out the window to the back yard. Behind their house there was an old wire fence with holes in it and behind that was a field that was overgrown with weeds. He saw in the corner of the fence a head looking through the hole in the fence. When he saw it, he thought it was a doe sitting or laying down looking in. Then it stood up and came thru the hole. He took these pictures (below) with a cell phone through a screen door. The family believed it came that close to the house because it smelled the food that was out by the fence (turkey bones and meat left over from Thanksgiving). As it...

Oddities Week on Ghost Hunting Theories

This week on Ghost Hunting Theories, I'm going to share all things that are odd. In just a while, a post is going up on a potential chupacabra sighting in Kansas. The rest of the week is going to be, well, very odd, from carnival-strange to scientific conundrums . Enjoy!

Bigfoot and Infrasound

Infrasound is sound produced in a range far below human's threshold of hearing, but that does not mean that humans do not sense it, many reports, unease, feelings of being watch, paranoia, nausea, and headaches when in its presence. Experiments with Eastern State Penn showed that the construction of the building was such that, when it rained, it created infrasound down the corridors, causing ghost-like sensations and sights. So, its effects are immense on the human body and every cell (see film above of what it does to water). The video above shows a man who can hit notes in the infrasound range.  If a man can produce infrasound, a Bigfoot surely can. It was said that this was possible because of long vocal chords. Imagine the length of Bigfoot's vocal chords. How might Bigfoot use infrasound? Well, here's the dilemma - because he is capable of it, does not mean he necessarily utilizes it. It might be that he can do it, but he can't hear infrasound, so it would not be...

How To Find a Bigfoot Team You Can Affiliate With

You've decided you want to see a Bigfoot, perhaps to prove to yourself they exist, to spend more time outdoors, to try and get an exceptional photo or film. There is no reason not to enjoy these things with family and friends, but some people wish to join a team and learn from others who've been the field longer. Here's the steps I would tell you to go through before you affiliate with a team. First, know your motivation - why are you wanting to join a team? What do you hope to achieve? Once you have your head in the right place and you decide you want to be aligned with a team instead of going solo, the real task is before you - Investigate the team and the members. Bigfoot researchers are often times very vocal online and opinionated. You can observe their words and behaviors to discern much about them - do they attack others? Bad mouth other teams or people in the industry? Have a defensive attitude? Try to sell expeditions or make cash on the process?  Trying to vie fo...

LAUGH: Parody of Finding Bigfoot

Some of y'all are new to my LAUGH series. See the tab at the top that says "LAUGH Comedy Series." I make loving fun of all the paranormal shows. Today, I decided that I am so in love with the show "Finding Bigfoot" that it begs to be poked fun at by an adoring fan. ( In the woods in the Cascades in Washington State, the team gathers in the darkened forest to look for the elusive Bigfoot creature reported by locals on the mountainside ) RANAE: Man, I'm really glad to be here in my home state on what might be a really awesome hunt. Matt: ( Turning to Cliff ) Did you hear something? Cliff: You mean Ranae speaking? Matt: ( frowns ) Ranae? Cliff: ( prompts ) You know, the female on the team. ( seeing Matt's blank stare, he adds ) The skeptic. Matt: ( bristles ) Oh, her. Bobo: What do you want us to do, huh? Ranae: If these people said that the creature was as tall as that row of branches down the hillside, perhaps we should have Bobo go down there and...

Bigfoot Language

This video that MK Davis released that compiles different vocalizations and language was not easy to acquire. The videos that these were extracted from had only the faint distant sound of what might be talking. When MK greatly amplified the audio, the voices became apparent, as well as making dog barks, car sounds in the distance and roosters louder, too. I suggest to other researchers to amplify their audio a great deal to see if there is language that was not picked up near the mic, as Bigfoot tend to avoid posted cameras and recorders. Ideally, you should listen to this (below) with headphones. You will be unsettled and amazed. I put some transcription below to help you to understand this and then I will discuss it in more detail below - :52 (bellowing like a dog howl) 1:00 "dog, dog, dog...dog, dog" 1:12 (indistinguishable jabbering) 1:34 (rising howl) 2:20 (indistinguishable jabbering) "dog, dog, dog" 2:44 (growling, wrestling with something, grunting) 3:...
