Using Healing Skills

People ask me about healing sometimes and I have to say this - you are a conduit as a healer . You let in loving energy that runs through you, out you, and through the person you focus on. You do not take on their disease, you are only an exit vehicle for the loving energy entering you and focusing on another.  You also are not attacking, bombarding, fighting, or killing something in someone.  You are setting up their emotional and mental milieu to keep disease process from progressing and to help it reverse.  You are washing them with loving energy that is like a soothing liquid, allowing them to reset to healthy balance again so self-healing systems are active.  A good healer begins from the origins and works their way back to the final disease. They begin with the person's emotional/mental state, past hurts, stress, hormones/endocrine, and backwards towards the heart/head/gallbladder or whatever else is the issue the person seeks help for.  If they do try to ...

Color Healing

One thing I know about new-age healing is that belief has an amazing power. People who believe in prayer, believe in crystals, belief in hands-on healers, release their own chemicals in their bodies to do that which they seek. Some people can use meditation, others aggressive exercise, and for some, sex. However you find your healing, if there is belief-there is response. Some time, try one of these new-age techniques I'll be discussing in this series and leave yourself open. You will be shocked at your body's response and one good response and you can develop belief. Belief is really a way of making the inner caretaker release the necessary anxieties, produce the proper chemicals and let go long enough to heal without cortisol flooding the bloodstream. Color healing  is a new-age practice. Let's look at colors and that they supposedly do if you surround yourself with them, even eating things of these colors and staring at the color while meditating and even going so as dec...

Did Norwegian Trolls Really Exist?

The dense rocky forests and jutting fjords of Norway seem to be the ideal setting for a magical creature that turns to stone if it encounters elusive sunlight. Norway love and appreciates their trolls and put them on lots of souvenirs and signs. But, is there anyone who believes that trolls might actually exist? Trolls are part of Scandinavian lore and they are pretty much similar to ogres. They are often described as stupid, dirty, and huge. And, the reason they say there are large rocks all over Norway is that, trolls had encountered the sunlight. They are often described as shapeshifters that are capable of going invisible and sneaking into places without needing use doors and windows. Their hiding places are considered to be under rock croppings and cave-like areas.  When I was a child, my father was a Thorvaldsen from Norway. The family changed their name in the late 1920s after coming to America. He used to tell me great tales of the most troublesome and stupid trol...

Legendary Christmas Monsters!

Halloween ended, many grieved. Christmas begins and they might come to life again when they realize there were a lot of legends of monsters to keep children in place. Talk about a holiday buzzkill, European children had to be pretty frightened of Christmas - it could be really good or incredibly evil. In many ways, it reflects religious beliefs of a Divine reward or a hellish punishment. Belsnickel This German legend involves a raggedy looking man with a stick in one hand, candy in another. He either rewards or punishes children.  Jolasveinar  "13 Dwarfs of Christmas" These "Yule Lads" are an Icelandic tale that involves 13 dwarves who bring Christmas, kind of like a bunch of little Santas. They also punish the bad kids. The children put shoes in their windowsills the last 13 days of Christmas, awaiting gifts or rotting potatoes. These fellows are supposedly the sons of mountain Trolls.  Gryla Another Icelandic mythical creature. Originally, she was the mother of th...

Christmas Gift From Arizona

A compilation of pics I took of the Arizona skies over the past couple years. The sky here is amazing - 180 degrees of viewing and hundreds of miles of visuals. It doesn't creep up on you, it marches boldly! Have a wonderful holiday this season, no matter what you observe. I hope it's all you wish it to be.

A Shaman's Life

(*This is a special guest by shaman, Willie "Windwalker" Gibson. I am hoping to share more and during coming months and year of people who have taken paths for humanity.) A Shamans Life In 1980 I was a Peace Officer. I was assigned to an area that had a Native American burial site on it. I used to park my patrol car at the edge of the burial grounds every night and watch for speeders, and wandering around the grounds after hours. One night about 2 a.m. in the morning, there was a misty rain coming down. I was looking out at the burial site and I could see a person walking straight for my patrol car. I quickly turned on my headlights and my side spotlight on the person walking. I saw it was an Indian man, he looked to be in his 60s. I got out of my car and called out, "Stop!...Who are you? What are you doing here?" The man kept on walking.  I put my hand on my side arm and I warned, "Stop!" The man stopped about 10 feet from me. Once again, I said, I said, ...

Long Island Bigfoot Report #3

**This is a guest post by Bigfoot researcher, Karl Sup, who has been studying a situation in Long Island, NY, as a potential urban Sasquatch situation. Here are links to the previous two reports -  #1 Report #2 Report GOOGLE EARTH tiny portion of Long Island Central Long Island, New York (City Withheld) January-April 2015 January on Long Island brought some extremely frigid temperatures and blustery, short days. Work schedules were crazy the first week, but I still managed to tromp through the snow in the dark and place some apples on the trail in the woods. They were gone the next time I checked. There were no tracks in the snow exiting the woods. The following week brought more of the same. On Tuesday night was very cold but relatively still. I parked and walked over to the edge of the woods towards the head of the trail. As I reached the entrance into the woods, I heard a loud crack of a thick branch being snapped in the dark. I stood there for a moment trying to decide the best...
